Brandsport is proud
to offer a full line of performance accessories from AEM. Though most
popular for its achievements in sport compact racing, AEM offers a full
line of performance parts for the sport compact, large car, truck and
SUV markets. AEM is dedicated to pushing the limits of performance and
quality, something they have built a reputation for.
Shortly after opening
their shop in 1987, AEM's custom fabrications and the ability to build
the baddest cars on the track made their name synonymous with performance.
Their dedication to researching, developing, designing and manufacturing
the highest quality performance parts and products not only increased
their market share, it allowed AEM to be ahead of the curve when the sport
compact revolution exploded in the United States.
In order to maintain the high standards imposed upon itself, AEM performs extensive testing for performance and reliability. All parts are CAD designed to help ensure quality. Due to its popularity in the aftermarket parts world, AEM performance products are often tested by prestigious automotive publications such as Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Sport Compact Car, Super Street, Honda Tuning, Euro-Tuner, 5.0 Mustangs, Truckin', 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility and Sport Truck. Not only are these magazines an example to AEM's appeal to various interests and markets, time and time again the tests performed by these magazines show what AEM knows: AEM performance parts and accessories are top of the line and outperform the competition. The AEM product line has something for all your performance needs. Cold air induction kits and RAM air intake systems provide your ride all the clean and cool air to keep it breathing right. The AEM electronics line has sensors, wideband UEGO controllers and every tuner's dream: plug and play programmable engine maintenance systems (EMS) for fine-tuning any engine for any occasion. Another way to give your engine a power boost is with Tru-Time adjustable cam gears and Tru-Power lightweight pulley kits. In order to keep your street demon from getting too thirsty, AEM has a whole line of high volume fuel systems which include high volume fuel rails, high performance fuel filters and universal adjustable fuel pressure regulators. Because AEM developed all those parts and accessories to make your ride go, they also developed big rotor brake systems and high performance brake pads to make it stop. And just in case you don't want your baby to look naked when you lift the hood, AEM also offers dress-up items such billet oil filler caps and spark plug covers. As you can see, not only is the AEM performance product line-up durable, it's plentiful.
For all performance parts and accessories, AEM offers a limited lifetime warranty. If you have a part or accessory item fail, you can contact AEM or you can contact Brandsport by e-mail or telephone. However, due to AEM's high standards, quality control and history in the after market performance field, the chances of a part failing or not meeting your expectations are slim.
Though AEM spends a lot of time and effort in bringing the best performance products to market, it hasn't neglected its racing roots. The AEM/DriverFX.com team has two Honda Civics in its stable: one front wheel drive beastie (FWD) and one rear wheel drive (RWD) monster. Built by renowned drag racer Stephan Papadakis, the four cylinder, FWD Civic dragster made its first appearance in November of 2000 at the SEMA. Since its SEMA debut, the AEM/DriverFX.com FWD Civic has exceeded 180 miles per hour, brought home both NDRA and IDRC class champion titles in 2001 and was second in points in NHRA for 2002. Named the world's fastest and quickest FWD drag car, the AEM/DriverFX.com FWD Honda Civic is evidence to AEM's dedication to performance. Not to be outdone,
the AEM/DriverFX.com RWD Civic, engineered and built by the AEM Racing
program, has dipped into the sixes, 6 seconds that is. Stephan Papadakis,
piloted the screamer on the 6.94 second run. But don't be surprised. Papadakis,
who was the first to run a Honda through the 9-second barrier, and the
AEM built Civic are perfectly matched to push the speedometer passed 200
m.p.h. The AEM/DriverFX.com RWD Civic competes in the NHRA Sport Compact
Series Pro RWD class and is expected to show the racing world what AEM
is capable of for many years to come.
