The cleaning solution and oil are specially formulated for use with the cotton gauze filtering media used in K&N air filters. They won’t shrink or damage the media and will help preserve the K&N 10 year/million mile warranty of your filter. This K&N air filter cleaning kit comes with an 8 oz. spray bottle of air filter oil, 12 oz. bottle of cleaning solution, a service decal to remind you when to clean your filter and complete cleaning instructions. While your K&N air filter may only need to be washed every 50,000 to 100,000 miles, if you live in a dusty area you may want to clean it more often.
