A little bigger than I expected

This was part of an experiment in protecting the doors of a new truck. This material is well suited for a very thick portion of sheet metal, but is too wide for most car/truck door applications. It interfered with the other door seams. However, it is perfect for the hood along the lower edge where the material is thick. That area seems prone to chips so I was able to apply it there. Another area I will use it is a sheet metal seem along the underside of the cab to dress up the spot welds and sealant that was over applied. However, I will probably reorder it in black.
Pros:Well suited for large sheet metal seams such as the engine hood.
Cons:Too wide for car doors unless your door is on a Brinks like truck.
